Bio
Formed 2020 around the foundations that built the most powerful genres of extreme metal, Empty Throne is a whirlwind of Black, Thrash and Death Metal fused into a unique and refreshing formula. Old line-up featured Mike Smith on drums (ex Suffocation etc) and Jack Owen on guitar (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide etc).
Now the line-up have Mike Pardi on guitar (Draconis, ex-Possessed), Gabe Seeber on drums (Kennedy Veil, Abbath etc.), Jason Ellsworth on bass (Angerot) and music/lyrics and band concept is made by vocalist CR Petit (Angerot).
In 2024 the band signs to the Swedish label Downfall Records to release debut full length album “Unholy”. The album contains six strong songs and +40 minutes of the best Darkened Death/Thrash-Metal. “Unholy” will be available on CD/LP+DIGITAL.
